Arithmatica's CellMath Designer Datapath Synthesis Tool Selected by ATI for Next Generation Graphics Designs
WARWICK, U.K.—(BUSINESS WIRE)—July 20, 2006—
Arithmatica, the silicon math company, today announced a
multi-year, volume licence agreement to supply its flagship CellMath
Designer datapath synthesis software to ATI Technologies, Inc.
"ATI has deployed Arithmatica's CellMath Designer for datapath
design in our graphics production flow," said Greg Buchner, VP of
Engineering. "We were able to achieve aggressive datapath area targets
with a solution that integrated well with our current design flow."
Tony Curzon Price, CEO of Arithmatica, said: "We have been working
with ATI for over a year, so ATI's decision to adopt us is a
meaningful endorsement for us. We love working with engineering groups
of the calibre we find at ATI: they stretch us, teach us what is
really important in advanced ASIC design flows and ultimately make us
deliver a superior product. ATI's flow requirements made us work very
hard on making our formal verification support almost push-button on
complicated floating point blocks. We look forward to a continued,
close relationship with ATI over the years ahead."
Availability
Arithmatica actively markets and supports its products in North
America, Europe, Japan, Korea and Taiwan.
